A busy morning on the Cowgate

My Home Town for 50 years , 1941 to 1991

I have always believed in the Town Motto: Ca' canny, but ca' awa'. Having revisited on a regular basis and some things may change but the Cowgate and the friendly people are still the same as they were in 1941 when I first arrived here from Glasgow. The main difference is The Regent Centre, Shopping Mall, seen on the left of photo.
